Email update privacy

When you sign up, we collect your email address so we can send occasional updates about Amazon’s Prime Air proposal in Portland, the City review, and opportunities for residents to comment or take action. Submitting the form adds your address to the update list.

We keep the signup and consent time and the signup source (“homepage email updates”) as a record of your opt-in. Cloudflare processes the signup and stores these records; Resend manages the subscriber list, campaign email, and campaign unsubscribes. We do not sell or rent this information or add people from petitions, contact forms, or other sources without their explicit signup consent.

Every campaign email includes an unsubscribe link managed by Resend. We retain suppression information for addresses that unsubscribe so they are not added to future campaigns by mistake.

Cloudflare Turnstile is used to reduce automated signups. The signup service also keeps a short-lived, keyed hash of the requesting IP address for rate limiting; it does not store the raw IP in the subscriber record.
